Entry dates & fees

Two windows to choose from. The fee depends on the date you submit.

01When is Regular Entry?+

Regular Entry runs from 1 October 2026 to 15 January 2027. The fee is £230 per entry.

02Can I enter after the Regular deadline?+

Yes. Final Entry runs from 16 January to 15 February 2027. The fee is £350 per entry during this period.

03What currency are the fees charged in?+

All USG-UK entry fees are charged in pounds sterling. The stated amount applies to each entry.

04Is a winner’s trophy included in the entry fee?+

No. Award recipients may purchase an optional trophy for £200. Shipping is calculated and charged separately.

01Which design fields can be entered?+

There are nine fields. See the Categories page for what each one covers.

02How should I choose a category?+

Select the category that most closely represents the project’s primary purpose, setting and intended user experience.

03What information should I prepare?+

Prepare: · Project title and category · Designer or studio name · Location and completion year · A short design statement · Print-quality images · Photography and collaborator credits

04Are international projects welcome?+

Yes. Entries are accepted from any country.

05What image sizes or file formats are required?+

File size and format requirements will be published with the entry form. Prepare print-quality images in advance.

Judging & results

How entries are judged, and where results appear.

01How are entries assessed?+

Every entry is checked for eligibility, scored by the jury, moderated, then confirmed.

02What does the jury consider?+

The jury scores five things: · Originality and intent · Response to context · Function and experience · Craft and detail · Responsibility and lasting value

03When will the current jury be announced?+

The 2026–2027 jury will be announced once the panel is confirmed.

04Where are official winners published?+

Official results are published in the USG-UK Winners Archive, which currently includes the 2025, 2024 and 2023 records.

05Which award levels appear in the archive?+

The current official archive records Platinum, Gold and Silver Award recipients for each published year.
